Ive always been one for running seperate amps when it comes to subs vs mids. Id run a number of the upper brand amps with a 600W rating. If you think you could get more quality from your 6x9's on an amp then I wouldnt go over 100W on them. However if you must then a 600W-800W 4 channel, bridge 2 to the sub and run single channel on each 6x9. Even with a good 800W amp your maybe using 600ish of it so pushing single channel to the mids wont over power them.

Dave you want to add to this????? Your the stereo GURU

I would also run separate amps. Either a mono amp on the sub or something bridgeable and something 2 ch for the 6x9s. Whatever you do for the sub make sure that the ohms are correct and if its low ohms, that the amp is stable at whatever it is.

Do you have an extended cab or standard cab? If you have a standard cab would you be willing to cut a hole in your back wall? It just depends on your space constraints and how far you're willing to go for your sound. If you have a standard cab and don't want to do a blow through, then Euros suggestion sounds pretty good. However, i you have the extended cab then definitely go with separate amps and fine tune the amps to the speakers.
