Ok so i put in my 3" blocks a while back but i still wana go lower without spending too much $$$. Ive pulled the middle leafs before but that same damy my pinion bearing took a crap. So i put the middle leafs back in and replaced the bearing.

Im thinking of pullin the leafs again but i dnt wana have to deal with that crap happening again wen i do get around to driving the truck(its been sitting for 6+ months now)

What could have caused this to happen and should i even risk doing it again? Im thinking of putting in a 4th leaf but flipped upside down, and add some clamps to flatten out the springs a bit.

Air shocks have come into my mind aswell.

    what do you guys think???

I'd just pull it again. Maybe the old one was bad already. I'd think adding another Lea would raise It not drop it even if it's flat.

if your pinion angle is bad wen you pull middle leaf use a angled block. some call it tapered block. it helps keep your pinion angle

Ive also got angled blocks, but Im also running a mono-leaf & air shocks too. Im also thinking your pinion bearing was bad before you dropped it so Im thinking youll be ok if you pull another leaf out.

I still think it was bad before you pulled it an once you pulled it you actually noticed it. Maybe some angled blocks like stated before

well getting the angle finder aint the issue. or putting it up to the pinion. just idk if the blocks changed the angle. i dnt think they did simply cuz the axle just got moved straight up. but i could be horribly wrong
