Has anyone ever had the pulley that goes on the harmonic balancer split apart? The back half of mine is floating, when you hit the throttle it moves back and forth on the balancer? I was just wondering if this was something someone else had. First time I've seen that but then again this is the first V6 Yota I've ever owned, maybe it's a problem for only those motors?

From what everyone else says, the 3VZ isn't the most reliable engine by Toyota, no problems like that on my 22RE, just a bad dashpot.

Well I tack welded it back together for now. I need it to last until the weekend so I can go find another one at the wrecker.
