since it's getting an almost entire rebuild at the moment i'll put up what i can. keep in mind that these are crappy pics i took from the craigslist ad since i dont have a decent camera other than my old phone and i cant find the charger for it.

the other truck on the right is my old 86 hi-lux that blew a head gasket right before i moved to cali 2 years ago and my mechanic skipped town on my i ended up having to sell it for $400. i still cry when i think about it but i have a new toy now that is a lot further along in the process of being a finished product

thanks guys. i got it for $1500, but didn't run. found out it had spun a bearing real bad and the others were worn real bad. it had an old beat up 22r, but i found a doner from a 91 ext cab 4x4, so now i'll be back to a 22re under the hood. as for the plans.... thats a list longer than the fbi's watch list. but its mostly all drawn out in my profile if anyones interested, otherwise just keep your bloodshots peeled back, cuz most of the big stuff will be done in the next few months, hoping for a relaxin' at the rock debut here in portland and maybe hit the cali scene next year with it. as for the paint i'm gonna keep the color, but it does need repainted, so i'm gonna try to map out a 2-tone with black and maybe a yellow pinstripe. ... i should have more pics up later. i found my usb cable for my old phone so i charged it up, went down and snapped a few more pics.

the motor on the picker is my new 22re and the parts on the table are from the 22r.... if anyone needs anything a lot of this stuff is still good, just needs cleaned up. i've even got a weber carb and a header. the crank, bearings and rods are not in great shape but everything else is in good shape.

these are the donors. the gmc van is donating it's rear inner wheel wells so i can fab new front inner wheel wells. the luv is donating its bed, whicj is getting a few inches cut from the top and the rear, so i can have a new raised bed floor and rear wheel wells (living in oregon makes it hard to not have inner fenders). and the lincoln is donating its center console and maybe a few other items (we'll see what happens).

I hear ya, cali sucks when it comes to smog. But depending on the brand and stuff it might be street legal to run it.

no... if we had rebuilt the motor it might have still smoked like axl rose and drank like me. it showed signs of being a smoker, with few oil changes in its life. how most of the parts came out in such good shape is still a mystery.

i was outta town for 3 weeks helping a freind in southern oregon so needless to say i was not home to work on my truck during that time. but i'm home now and waiting on parts so back to the grind. i did however get the interior mocked up the other day and it looks freekin' sweet.
