i still have yet to find the valance or grill. but I'm looking intently on buying one.:eyecrazy: my grill now has two very small cracks thanks to my father... he decided to push it out of his garage by the grill  We were rebuilding the carb so it obviously wouldnt start and he said "take the brake off" next thing i hear is..."well that was already there." grrr. but i need a 76 grill and valance then its on to a custom tonneau cover that hooks around the hooks on the bed. then lowering 2 maybe 3 inches. tint HiDs then paint it will take a while but be worth it.

    okay.

so i know it will take a lot of coin and a lot of fab work but which would you choose to go in your truck? ( i dont want to pay a $hit load of $ to buy the car then pay a lot for insurance so this is an easy less expensive alternative)

I like the idea, but it may not be worth the effort. If you're wanting to do something along those lines why don't you look into a nissan sr20 or someting. That would be much cheaper and the engine puts down tons of power. And it would fit great on top of everything. Or even a KA-t would work good. I'm working on putting a 2rz in my 80 right now from a tacoma that i'll turbo.

i thought about that too but the whole idea is to get it AWD i live in utah and RWD trucks are no good here. it snows too much. and by the time i get one of these two motors i will have a different daily driver anyways. ive just always wanted the sti or evo but in utah the first version sti goes for around 18k

Oooooh ok i see. Well sounds like a fun/interesting project then. Good luck.

Oh and don't forget about awd skyline powertrains, rb20-26 motors. Insane power ;)
