power windows and locks

    k so ive possibly struck gold, im getting a 86.5 sr5 turbo 4runner for 400, all power options work, im curious as if there is a way to hook up the power windows and locks, do i gotta wire it into my 87 standard or is it plug and play with the nessasary relays ect

    The research I have done is that most parts are interchangeable from 80-85 and 86-94 Now that research was for bearings and hubs and rotors suspension parts and all so it might apply for door parts.. they may have made all their doors from the same mold in that body styling so the hilux door may have four runner power holes drilled and taped in it. It would make for a great tech wright up if it did... What you say have time for that?

    considering i have a 94 celica as a beater and the engine for my truck is on a stand, yes

    I did this taking same year (84- 88) 4-Runner doors & swapping to my truck.
    Got one piece glass,etc.
    Get the electrical wire diagram book from Toyota ,will help a lot!:cool:
