I think my rear end is toast. I Put my truck on jackstands to take off my rims to paint them. But I'm thinkin my rear end is toast. I can spin it in gear an when I spin one side the other side is motionless. Lemme know what could be the problem I don't wanna drive it like this

 

maybe you dropped a spider gear? thats what happened to me. i never spun the wheels though. drain out some gear oil and check the color. if it looks like metallic paint like mine did, shes gone

 

this is what i ended pulling out of the case. there were tons of shavings too and i got a couple of splinters cleaning it out.

open diff dude... thats how it does the one tire fire. hold one tire and spid the drive line, should move, then switch holding tires and the other should spin.

 

Owch, how teh shat did that happen

and I keep forgetting I have a 7.5" diff

 

if you cant go, its just summer madness, the only thing you will miss is cherokee crying on stage about his son and how hes 78 thousand years old.
my club used to do security for that run and that prick strung us along for 5 years promising us that we would take it over the following year. we finally had enough of him and his bs and stopped going. plus he wanted to start charging us to do the security and then we MIGHT get the money back after it was over. (sorry, rant over)
