Noob here saying hi. I joined because I have a 92 Toyota that's been very good to me so I owe it some more TLC.

I just put on a cold air kit and some pulsar plugs and I'm liking the added pep, so I'm hoping to get some tips here on upkeep, mods, and whatever wisdoms :bow:other members can pass on.

I haven't included a photo of my yota, 'cuz it needs a paint job pretty badly (clear coat coming off) and that's remindes me, I'm also thinking about sanding the paint and putting on primer and leaving it that way (I like the primer look). Any tips on that process would be appreciated.

I am a long time member of a motorcycle site (VTXOA.com) so I know how these work, and I'll try to do searches here 1st so I'm not asking the same ol' questions that have been asked a gazillion times.

    Thanks in advance folks! :waytogo:

    Definatly post pics. :waytogo:

Primers's definatly not paint. So heres what I learned.

It absorbs water like no other, ie rust.
    Greasy fingerprints aint washing off
Always fades to a lighter color after something like 6 months.

But it makes doing body work on it a breeze.
