plasic cover

    does anyone know if or wear i can gat a metal plate to weld over the spot on the bed were the plastic "fender flare" is, its on the lower corner in front of the tire. it looks stpid and i wan't to smooth it out and it would make it easyer for me.

    any help is good

    probably go to the local junk yard with some cordless shears and just take a piece from any car you can find. I know around here, I always see guys cutting off sheet metal from the sides of vans to use

    any idea what vans have to closest body lines to mach for a nice fill?

    you'd have to work it to make it fit how you want. most likely, cut a piece out, weld it in and smooth it all out like you would with any sheet metal fab. you could always just fiberglass over the holes with some tiger hair for a cheaper/quicker solution.

    i've never witnessed anyone taking sheet metal from the vans for a 'clean fit,' instead, they just took it b/c they needed some sheet metal to use as patching.
