Pinion angle

    Setting up my 4 link! It's been awhile what is a good pinion angle positive 2 degree? At ride height of corse

    With a leaf spring setup, you'd go 1 degree or so negative (to parallel with the drive shaft). With a solid mounted setup, such as a three, four, or five link, you'll want to set it exactly parallel to either the forward half of a two piece, or the output shaft of a single piece drive shaft. And that is at ride height, of course.

    Mine, with 1" dropped motor mounts, Z'd frame and CanDo x-member ended up being up 3 degrees.

    Thanks again I've got it all tacked into place! At drive height it's 2degrees and layed out it stays about the same very little movement thru travel!
