just like the topic says. im trying to get some pics of extended cabs dropped. preferably with wheels size and tire size. tryin to figure out what i need and what its going to look like.
This one has a 2/3 drop. Spindles up front, lowering springs in the rear without blocks. The frame has been notched for the addition of bags, and I'm running the 4wd front end. Shaved antenna and third brake light. The wheels are Axis Reverbs, 18"x7.5" fronts (-42mm offset with a 1" spacer) with 225/40-18 tires, and 18"x9.5" rears (I can't remember for sure, but I think the offset is -20mm) with 265/35-18 tires. If you want to know for sure, ask and I'll pull a wheel and check.
thanks man. you have any problems with that wide of a wheel in the rear? i like the look. im running 15x8 with 4.25" rear spacing. im also running a 225/60/15 tire. looking at my set up i think that im going to rub if i drop it. i know for sure that i will have to get the 4runner fenders and bumper for the front to even get close to clearing. i will takes pics later and show you. this is what i have now...
It doesn't look like it will rub, but we'll see when the time comes. I know for sure that if it clears, I will have to be very careful that I don't lay it out with the wheels turned even just a little bit.
Here's a pic of mine. It has a 2" drop in front and I'm not sure what the drop is in the back. I just bought the truck and it's my first lowered vehicle. I do know it's a "flip converison" (I think that's what you call it) in the back.
Well, the 2wd's came with the springs mounted on the underside of the axle, so chances are it's not a flip. However, the methods of lowering a spring-under axle are (in order of my favorite to least) lowering springs, blocks, and the infamous "remove leaves from the pack until its as low as you want it".
