Going to give you guys an update on what's coming up with the truck.

    I started with this....

Then in these two threads you can see the most current state of the truck...

    Its Engine.

The muffler I had on it with the dump pipe gives too much rumble, and the drone is killing me. So I got a new muffler and am planning on doing a side-out with it.

Gotta love the burn tip! for $35 shipped, I'm happy. :D

The factory headlight is just not doing it for me. I want to put some HIDs in it, but before I do so, I'm going to retrofit some real projector headlights. Got some factory E30 BMW headlights and front grilel. Going to cut the round headlight part of the grill and fit it into our factory front grille.

    The headlights fits nicely.

This is how to do it(HID) right boys, so you don't blind the traffic.
Testing. Projectors are in GOOD condition...the beam cuts nicely. Note that its still got the factory bulbs in there. Will add the HIDs later.

    To be continued...

I love the look of your truck! The black, red rims, and now round headlights....I don't know if it's your intention, but it looks retro cool to me, like a '50's lead sled. Everything I plan to do to my truck, you seem to be beating me to! I promise to try to make mine a little different...;)

like the theme of your truck man. mines similar... but im not tryin to be an ass, but JDM means "Japanese Domestic Motors". your truck is screaming americana. i have a 98 civic that im building "jdm" style. type r headlights, j-spec fog lights, type-r lip kit, and a 99-00 front end. i like the way your going with the truck, but its not jdm.

    Update: 01/23/2009

Score these babies (MINT!) for $50 two days ago. I think they are off of a later model Toyota Celicas. Put them in last night. The mounting brackets still needs a little tweaking, but they'll do for now...

    Hey Phaty,

You said your running KYB Monomax's, correct? What kind of drop do you have? I mean how many inches front and rear?

I think I'll join you and get some KYBs. I can't make up my mind whether to go with KYBs, Pro Comp, or Belltech SPs.

I just stick with KYBs since they're the best out there.
