My 89 has "corner" lights (next to the headlights) that are clear with an orange reflector in the housing. I've noticed that the previous years trucks have an all orange corner. I'm thinking 88 and back to the previous body style, but I've only seen them on the street so I don't know what years exactly.
I like this orange corner look. My question is: would these "orange corners" bolt onto my 89 without much modifying to make them fit?
Thanks for the help. I just want to make sure before I go running around the junk yards.

No bud unless you want to do some decent metal fab on your fenders and a bit on your grille.

89-94 2wd corners the rear edge slops towards the door and the 4wd they slope back towards the bumper. On the 86-88 they are pretty square all the way around.

The only all amber ones Ive found are for the 88 older and newer tacomas, they do look neat but its would be more work than its worth (well my opinion anyway)

You might be able to tint them all amber!! I dont know how good it would look but its possible!

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll look into "tinting" them.

I ran across this while researching:

Dying Plastic R/C parts with Rit Dye. Video 1 of 2 - YouTube

Has anyone tried it for car parts like lenses? I'm thinking if it works, it would be good for blacking out signals and tail lights as well. You would just have to get black dye instead of orange. I'm thinking that an old crock pot would be great, since it doesn't actually bring the water to a boil.
    Well... What does everyone think?

Worth a shot since corners light are dirt cheap on ebay if you mess up you can get more.
    Interesting idea.
