Open carb...

    Can any1 help me out on what vacuum lines I can plug up/delete so I can run a open carb? I've seen some pics on 671Hilux's build thread. Please also add some pics as well. Thanx Y'all

    you can remove all of them except for the vacuum advance on the distributor and the brake booster (goes to intake).

    i also found i had to keep the idle cut solonoid hooked up or the truck wouldn't run. all the other emissions electrical plugs i just tucked away.

    I want to do that to my 88 when I get to the front section...

    Damn these trucks have a ton of worthless vacuum junk on them! Now if someone would do a cleaner write up would be kick ass!

    I know this is old, but curious if anyone has done this recently??

    Just trying to figure out which block off plates to get before I start ripping stuff out.
