okay so on the 2wd and 4wd headlights all sit in, unlike the 4runner that sits flush. im doing the 4runner swap, but do i need a 4runner core support to make them sit flush? i need answers no later than 10 tmw morning. im going parts searching in the AM. thanks guys

You can use the 2wd core support, but you will have to cut out the holes where the headlights go so the 4-runner lights will sit flush. Youll also have to drill a few more holes for the grill to bolt up 100% as well.

Well that really depends on how much work you really want to put into it. You can make the 2wd support work & the 4-runner parts will look just as good as if you had used the 4-runner support. Now keep in mind swaping out the front support is a good bit of work & if done wrong then your whole front end will look like crap, but if you've got a welder & some experience in doing body work then I say go for it!! Never know what you can do until you try! :)

you dont even have to cut much out of the 2wd support i maybe cut 2 pieces total about 3in by 1/4 in wide and your not cutting the actual support your cutting the little lip at the top of the support its more of an decoration than a support piece

sorry to get to this so late but dont buy the whole thing if you havnt already done it. its not hard to cut it i promise, its prob the easiest front end conversion iv ever done....

    day 1 of the conversion

alright so day one of my conversion went pretty well. only bad thing, the parts dealer said my passenger headlight didnt come in, so thats comin in on monday.
today i was able to get in the fenders but because i was in an accident, my core is a lil bent so i gotta bust out the mallot tmw so i can get the grille on there, line the fenders up right and then throw on that new chrome bumper. Ruby is on her way no doubt, pics will be up tmw night from today and tmw's work.
