Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but not new to Minitruckin. I've been building minis since the mid 80's, and don't plan on stopping till I'm dead. Here's one my buddy and I built a few years back for him. Just your basic fully shaved, stock floor body dropped, Taco with a 4Runner front clip and crazy paint. Personally, I drive a fully shaved, bagged 65 cadi Hearse.
MY GOD MAN! Your **** is OFF THE HOOK! looking forward to learning and sharing all we can man. Also check your pm box, your set not to receive messages and i have a line to drop to you
Thanks guys! Thanks for letting me know on the PM thing, I'll check it out. (I thought I had everything turned on though, lol). Try it again when you get a chance and let me know. Cool!
welcome! i always wanted a custom hearse with a coffin in the back! there was a lowered one where i grew up. it was painted like a milk cow.
Thanks, it's my forever project, and it's been a blast to build so far. I've built just about every bit of it myself over the last 12 years (with a couple buddies help here and there). There's a lot more info on the build in my sig. Ask any questions you want though. Can someone try to PM me and see if I got it fixed?
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Looking forward to checking out what you guys are building over here. This is one of the kinds of rides we built back in the day, lol, we built this one way back in 1992 I think. (you can kinda tell by the wheels and the paint colors, lol, those were cool back then) Nissan 720. 1- 30" EV sub (yes that's a 30" subwoofer in the back, lol) 8- 15" subs 4- 10" subs 4- 8" mid bass/subs 3- sets of seperates for mids and tweets (2 sets in the front doors and 1 set in the back) 11,500 watts of RMS power. (between 6 amps) 11 batteries 3- 1 farad caps 3- electronic crossovers all daisy chained. CAN YOU SAY BOOM!!! If you look real close, you can see the sub amps in the side windows. (about 3 1/2 feet long). And you can see some of the other amps in the rear glass gate. This truck started out as a complete total, it was vandalized inside and out when we started, and it took us just 28 days to get it to this. That includes all custom fabbed hydraulic suspension, (there wasn't really and airbags back then), fixing and shaving the entire body, Shaved handles, locks, ant, tailgate, drip rails, gas door, etc..., and it's unibodied with a fully molded body kit (that was cool back then, lol) , building the stereo, custom painting the rig with tons of airbrush work, all the fiberglass work, all the neon, 2 full lenght rag tops with fantom top, fully upholstered with walk though, etc...). And this is how good it still looks as of last year. (I really wish the guy that owns it now would at least update the wheels though, lol)
Yep, if fact we sponsor some local shows in your area and do logos for clubs down there. I'm not sure who's on the list this year though, but in the past we've done stuff with Miniature Society, Meticulous Details, Aftermath, and a few others. Seems to be alot going on down there.
