What would be the normal position on the oil pressure gauge? When I'm at idle, my gauge goes down all the way and when I drive, the gauge goes back up. Truck seems to be ok with no problems when I'm driving. Just concerned why it goes up and down.

It's fine dude! don't you got better things to worry bout? LOL!
Like what mod your gonna do to your truck next???

The gauge is a pressure gauge... oil pressure increases with RPM... so at idle it should be low and the harder you hit the gas the higher it will go....

its like that. it goes down at idle because not much OIL is being preasurred. when you pick up speed or acclerate it will go up because more oil is being force.
