Hey guys plan on doing a oil change on my 80 pickup.

Weird thing is my block says 20r but valve cover says 22r so idk if someone swapped the valve cover or if someone put a 22r head in it ....but question is what oil should I use ? How many qts? Etc

    Any info will help thanks

It should take about 4 and half quarts of oil, I use 2050w

Head has nothing to do with what oil to run. I'd run basic 10/30 unless its got a lot of miles then run something thicker..

Someone probably put a valve cover on it from a late model or found a sticker somewhere. Your valve cover have a squared off front or angled?
