    I use 4.5qts for my 22RE (1994).

I think it'd be the same, or close enough.

    YZZ-D3 filter from Toyota
Pennzoil Platinum 10W-30 (or their newest latest one)

you want the best right? but its up to you to choose what you want. how many miles, etc.

my truck is at 180k, and the past 40-50k had been very hard driven miles.... so i decided PERSONALLY, to go with 5W-30 and a huge effin PL30001 filter.

    don't ask why

im a huge fan of amsoil, but wouldnt recommend synthetic in it unless there has been synthetic. the new synthetic oil can re-animate those old dry seals and you'll have leaks all over the place. this was my lesson when i bought an old bronco II anyway.
