Can anybody tell me how important the location of the O2 sensor is ? I have a 93 with a 22re . I've got it bagged and lay'in frame and now I need to redo my exhaust. I have the stock exhaust manifold and originally it was roughly 36" from where the exhaust pipe exited the manifold, right before the cat.. I would like to move it closer to the engine, say 20" - 24" from the manifold. Would this cause problems (any codes) ? I really need to update my build thread.

    Thanks

It is very sensitive, & closer to the engine may having reading a hotter condition,in which the fuel delivery will change!!

    I'd call LC & ask them!!
