Whats up guys, My name is lackey. I live in Memphis,Tn and I've had my 91 toyota for about 8 months now. I've rescently realized that my truck is not going anywhere, I dont want another truck note! It's time to clean mine up. I'm no stranger to the trucks, I've had several 87-88 pickups, 83 pickup, 88 4Runner on 40'' ground hawgs, 82 diesel(badass truck) and a 81 toyota trekker(didnt know what I had till it was gone). I always come across deals on these dudes, I've been very lucky.

I have a few questions about a drop kit and wheel size on my 91. If I go with a 20, how wide? I want to do a 2-3 maybe a 3-4. I really want to do a 20'' wheel though. Thank yall for reading and helping me out if you can.

20's. You'll definitely need to buy 4x4 fenders or your not dropping it at all then with a bfh you can beat down them Wells a bit I'd say probably 3inch with some manipulation

Welcome to TM! Unfortunatly, doesn't matter what drop you do runnin 20's will raise the truck back up a little. I had 18's on mine and it took it back up bout an inch.

The circumference of my 20s with 235/30 tires is within a couple millimeters of the stock wheels circumference that came on my truck from the factory. Width wise, you will need 4wd fenders but height wise clearance should be the same as stock. I have 2" drop spindles and did have to fold the pinch weld of the inner fender as it was hitting every once in a while but prior to the spindles, I could be sitting on bump stops and still not hit inner fender.

    Here is a calculator:

Well I'm running 20x8.5's. I would go no wider. I'm bagged but I drive mine pretty low no problem with 2wd fenders and I did massage the firewall some. I would do about a +40 but as you'll see its hard to find aftermarket wheels within that critera and have center caps that fit.
