But I been lurking though. I found this site by searching for info about Toyota Dually's and have been looking in off and on until I had something to contribute. I did and now I'm registered. I have owned 2 Toyota pick-ups and can't complain about either. The first one I bought was a 93 std cab with 211k mi and it is still going strong with 270k with my uncle as the owner. My current ride is a 95 Ext cab P/U with 22RE 5spd, and has about 160k. My only mods are cruise control, wheels, and a very small sub. My intentions are to make a Dually extended cab (never made, always std cab) and a possible motor swap, but I am wondering how to finance it. as everyone knows these projects are never cheap.

Why dually? I have my truck mostly for hauling my street bikes (4) around, so I want more hauling capability (two bikes in the bed). The two dually toyota's my uncle had for his bussiness would make you cry from their brute longevity/capability. Ever see a 87 dually with 700k mi? how about 900K? thats with a service body, ladder rack and a 22RE. The abuse they endured is magnificent, a true portrait of Toyota truck legacy. Look forward to contributing.

Sorry no pics. I never quite appreciated them until after seeing people brag about their american truck has over 150k miles. by that time they had been retired.
