I didn't hear anything about it this year and I was just wondering if anyone else is going to do this. I always look forward to looking hagard for a month every year so I can't wait. ya my girlfriend would freak if i shaved...my face. as for you just rock the no shave man, if your girl gets pissy just tell her the beard dont take no **** lol
My daughters get really upset at me when I 'cut off my chin hair'... My wife also complains that I look like I'm a kid when I shave, and with the long hair, I sometimes get called ma'am when out and about...
No shave january doesn't sound cool lol NO shave NOvember however... And yes, i'm getting an early start on it.
Here was mine in all it's glory. Now I usually fluctuate from semi-neatly trimmed to out of control. My beard does some weird things when it gets longer. I want to keep letting it grow to see if it will straighten itself out but I get frustrated with it at times. I'll never be baby faced again though, that's for sure.
haha i cant even grow a beard. it looks like **** if i go longer than a week. but to hell with it. ITS NO SHAVE NOVEMEMBER. bring it on!!
I have a goatee already, had it for 12 years. Not sure what my wife and kids would say if grow a beard. But I do know my work wouldn't like it. If it wasn't for that I'd do it.
I love to participate in "no shave novembeard", however, I'm afraid work would write me off. The Grissly Adams looks just isn't business casual, but I DO miss having my huge beard.....it was epic!
hehe, last year I inadvertently participated because I was too busy helping clean up the haunted house I volunteer at to bother. halfway through someone asked about NSN and i was like wth are you talking about? talking of shaving always reminds me of a conversation I had with an ex's step-dad. I had just shaved my goatee off (very hot/humid summer) and was saying how much younger I looked and how he looked 10 years younger when he shaved his mustache (he was 50ish). I thought to myself how maybe that defines young and old, the young are trying to look older and the old are trying to look younger. I didn't say anything because he has NO sense of humor and that wouldn't go over well.
Im in. Ive got about a week and a half to start with. Its late, im tired and not stoned. I bet Im gunna be scruffy as hell. Never grew it out.
