I have a 1983 Toyota pickup deluxe. My heater doesn't work. I can feel the tubes going into and out of the heater core and both get really hot. But I can also feel the heater core and there is nothing Not even warm. Time for a new heater core?

Well are both pipes warm ot just 1. If your heater core was plugged only one pipe would be hot. If both pipes are hot then you got coolant flowing through it. You sure you ate touching the heater core and not the evaporate for ac, if you have one.

check to coolant level, steam will heat up the pipes but not enough to feel heat comming out of the vents.
