I'm going to be removing anything chrome off my toyota, does anyone have any pictures of different grills/bumpers they have seen put on? I'm thinking of modding something off a different truck (non-yota) to mount onto it... Most of the front ends I see on here have chrome on them so do not confuse my post with some of the others front end ones I've seen! :nana: Thanks guys!

My wife cheated on her truck and bought a grill from the wrecking yard that was intact but with peeling chrome. She spent some time peeling it all off and painted it satin black. Came out looking great. :D

As for the rest for the chrome you can swap some things like the tailgate handle for a factory black one. The door handles I don't think ever came in all black in the 3rd gen so you'd have to paint them.

The only thing that still has chrome on it is my grill and front pumper. I'd probably part out with them as soon as I get some sort of replacement front end that I liked.

isuzu rodeo bumpers look cool on a yota, or just use the valance on a non chrome upper. handles came both ways, chrome or all black. same with grilles.

I don't really care for the look of the stock front end.

I have an isuzu amigo, same front end as the rodeo's... I may look into swapping it out with that one.. This was more or less a thread where I wanted to see some styles that people have done so I can get a feel for what I want to do with the front end. I guess I'll just photoshop some different fronts on to see what I like.
