Hey everyone, I bought a 91 extended cab a few months ago and started following the forums here. I found everyone to be very helpful and supportive. After getting so much info from the site I finally decided to join tonight. Took off the grill and bumper today and I'm making plans for a new grill and valance. I have lots of plans so far... paint on the cheap... Taco bumper...2/3 Drop kit... all new stereo.. I learned how to drive in a 93 Red base model standard cab and these trucks have always been sweet to me. And the 22RE.. whats not to love?! Anyways good to be here! I look forward to learning a lot more.. and asking a lot of questions too!!

The real nine.d.one revealed After major tire blow-out on I-5: Here is a picture of the blown tire before I put the spare on, that you see above.. freaking destroyed, no?! That was catastrophic, I swerved a a lot and somehow actually broke third gear when this tire blew. Still need to get another tranny, but I'm making do without third for the time being. Its my fault, I bought the truck and left for LA about two days later on some old cracked tires. I made it about 300 miles and then booooom, screeeech (insert swerving) I had all of my tools in case of such an event. It was the following trip to San Diego, when my fuel pump died at 2:30AM that was reallly fun. See picture below. It took the tow truck all night to get there and the sun was coming up. I called AAA at 2 am!! The truck got there at 6am!! Sidenote: The above photo makes me realize my truck might look better with no bedliner. I might remove it and maybe have it Rhino-lined in something close to the body color. Gotta plan that. Victory is Mine!!: With Bumper and Grill Off: Alright, that is the current and recent mayhem. More adventures to follow. When I get it polished up and put back together I will post more pics. I plan to paint the wheels very soon but keep the chrome trim rings. I am thinking gunmetal or black. Any input is highly welcomed! Glad to be here and to see your guys interest!!
