    what's up everyone...

I found this site while searching older trucks minis etc. It seems to have a lot of information here and it looks like a place that i might stay awhile:waytogo:

Ive always wanted a truck and i was able to get one sunday night.
My mk4 Jetta died on me this week and i was looking for a beater. I drove by some dudes yard and he had a truck for sale for 1200...truck only has 101,000 original miles..i offered him 800 cash right there and he took it...:headbang::clapping:

Got it reg and now im ready to roll..this is all new to me. My background is import cars turbos VW and i also currently own a big turbo SRT-4...this truck is really starting to grow on me

my just looking to lower it a little bit...get some nice wheels and keep it clean..any input ideas etc would be very helpful thanks...

you could do a 2-3 drop..with spindle on the front and 3" block on the back..some drop shocks would good w that setup..for the rims maybe from 15" to 17" rims..

Welcome! We're glad you found us! It's a cool place to hang out.

That's my philosophy and is how my truck is set up is to keep it clean and fairly simple. It's always nice to hear comments made when people see my truck. Mods to the interior is always good like better bucket seats.

Thanks man..I will def need some help..ive been reading up a lot lately but this is all new to me..

probably gonna go with that for the setup for now..i dunno if i should do 15 or 17 inch wheels though

    I almost bagged my Jetta.

feel ya man..i hate my interior..thats nasty blue color..:eyecrazy:

Welcome to TM man. I came from the tuner world as well, now Im a minitrucker hahah. Just after years and years of racing and going fast I wanted to slow down a minute and chill and cruise.

The deal you got on that truck is unheard of if its a daily. Tons of potential for anything you want to do. Many guys on here are building drift trucks using a 1jz or 2jz engine from the supras, any direction you want to take with the truck is legit besides leaving it stock of course.

Personally If I could start over Id swap in a 1jzgte, do IRS rear and still have it laying frame hahahah

same here...the scene isnt the same anymore...just tried of building these types of cars and i need a change..my srt4 has sat for 3 months untouched because im just bored of it..

and yes i currently daily it to work 30 mins each way..my gf and my mom were like wtf is this..and ..im like i finally got a mini truck..lol..all my friends love it too...

everyone wants me to do a 2jz swap..my friend has an extra motor i could get cheap from him..he just bought a motor from titan i believe for his supra...but ill leave it untouched under the hood for now..i want it low and new wheels asap.....whats best wheel/tire combo for a 3-4 inch drop?
