yea was lookin at that route!! ive been out of tha mini truckin scene since early 90s (b4 airride i had tha juice on my 87 mazda)..and now have a father son project for me and my 12 yo cant wait hes really fired up bout it
sweet! i built a shaved one for another guy that fell through, havent been able to sell it to save my life. even locally it didnt go. i shaved the lights and molded the valance. i test fitted it to my 78 and it would probably benefit from a small narrowing. heres pics of how it fit, this is set off center to get a nice edge on the side you see.
it fits the fenders nicely, but you can see by the grille bars vs the front plate, i had it shifted over. i had to take 6" out of my rodeo valance im doing for the stock nose. lol. ive lowered the truck more since those shots, changed headlights and wheels, and a few little things. i would personally add a top strip to close up the gap to the valance and grille. atleast on the edges where the grille doesnt drop lower. wouldnt be hard to do.
id like to get $100 plus shipping. ive got alot of hours into getting it welded, making fillers, and adding a taper stripe to the wheel lip. the bumper has a wide lip and the valance has a small one. so i made them flow together better. heres some build pics.
