I just got my first toyota 2wd mini truck in the making, its a 79 std cab with a 20r under the hood, im fairly sure its an sr5 model because of the 5 speed gearbox and sunroof lol. I got it for free belive it or not and it runs! I will post up pictures when i officially have it in my driveway. Just wanted to say whats up and i will be on here quite a bit:waytogo:

Plans for the tuck are get it as low as I possibly can without bagging it. Go through the motor and possibly run a 20/22r hybrid with a 35 shot of nitrous with a webber carb. Fix a lot of rust and clean the hell out of it. I would come but I already have plans for tommorow but you should definately keep me in the loop about meets and stuff. I work at the firestone on mlk way in seattle if you ever want to stop by

Sweet. Theres a few guys in king county. I'm up in snohomish county. I feel ya about the motor and the build plan. You'll learn alot about suspensions if you read around here. Meets are gonna happen every 6-8ish weeks it seems. Theres another old car/truck show in a couple weeks.

    Post some pics :D

That's tight man I love older cars/trucks and I have been reading about suspensions and ish around and there is tons of useful stuff on here and I actually read your build thread before I registered here on the site which I must say your truck is impressive. I like to keep the old school feel of the rig I think I might even throw a set of whitewalls on the truck lol. I will take a ton of pictures tomorow when its finally in my drive way, got to clean it cause its nbeen sitting for 9 years but still fires right up.... gotta love the toyota motors lol

Not yet but trust me I will... I got really lucky on it because it is free for one ... it runs for two and it comes with an entire engine reseal kit from lcengineering so I got work to do on it for now including dropping it to the ground lol but I will be restoring her and building up the engine along the way
