    Hi,

I'm a newb on here from the UK and i've signed up on behalf of a friend of mine with a '96 pickup.

He wants to change the rims for some 18's.

I know the PCD is 5x114.3 but whats needed to get a set of off the shelf rims to fit?

These are the wheels he's got his eye on: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/18-ALLOY-WHEE...3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:2|39:1|240:1318.

    Can someone please tell me;
    a) will they fit?
    b) will he need spacers etc? If so, what?

    Thanks in advance...

I also have some questions about suspension but i'll put those in the right category...

From the auction it states that those are +42 offset. Those won't fit unless you get spacers.

If you do decide to go with them use:

    Wheel spacer:
    Front: 25/30 mm
    Rear: 30/35 mm

This should give you a flush look.

I'm running 25mm front and 30mm rear with +35 offset.

    Hope this helps.

Ohyea...got to use spacers if your friend wants to use those wheels. Here is a great site for them too...

So if he gets spacers I've always been under the impression that if you go for spacers that thick they need to be hubcentric? Is that the case and do any of you guys ever have any issues running non-hubcentric?

I checked out the spacers site you posted - really useful but do you think they'd ship to the UK? Or have any of you guy's got some spacers you could ship?

I didn't run into hubcentric issues with my rims.

I did however get spacer with a smaller hub size. "60" or something. I got one size to small but I still used them. It's running fine.

Basically, the additional steel cap that is suppose to go around the hub to make everything flush was to small.

So, my spacer is technically floating and only bolted together thru the bolts.

I hope that mad sense. Maybe someone else can better explain this.
