Hey guys had my truck for about a year (stock), but now the itch to drop it an throw some decent looking wheels on it bit me in the butt. Since I didn't know how to drop a truck did some googling an came up on this awesome forum. Been trolling for a couple of days now and got some really good info. Basic plans are Belltech blocks, lowering spindles, an whatever else the budget allows for. Previous cars i've had 1991 LS integra, an 1991 Civic Si wish I never sold. So here is a pic of my stock 92 22re.
cool civic. truck looks clean! have fun with it, try to keep it clean, it's really easy to get it dirty/banged up while you're having fun under it..
Welcome! I call dibs on your factory hubcaps if they are a complete set and for sale.... need it for my in-laws taco...
Say what who deleted my post?? Well Im not typing i again Welcome to the site Bag it or make it a drifter
Welcome to TM! I'd stay away from those Belltech Blocks. Hit up BEEFED TACO, his blocks are made from cast steel and have a offset pin pulling the driveshaft back so its not being pushed into the trans. His prices are reasonable for the quality you're getting. Street Tacos.com and go to Store also see http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/ve...block-u-bolt-bump-stop-kits-11400/#post135060
Thanks for the plug and links! Streetacos blocks are custom steel blocks not cast. Pictured below is a cast steel block and a streetacos block. You'll save 13lbs of unsprung weight by avoiding cast and running a true mild steel custom welded block. That 4" fabtech block weighed in at a whopping 10lbs! Almost as heavy as the Titanic anchor! Welcome to TM!
Nice. I am torn between building a Honda at the moment and starting my dads truck. I have been stock piling parts for four years to build the perfect mix. Just picked up a 2J so I guess the truck is next. After my dad (who was a Master Toyota Tech) passed, I carried four or five toyota a/c boxes of hubcaps to the junkyard because my mom wanted some stuff cleaned out.
