Hey guys i'm new here.. i'm really into Hondas.. and i've got about 2 projects goin on. well I also have this lil toyota. So why not another project huh? Lol
I don't know a whole lot about these so i came here to learn and enjoy the community.

What initally lead me me here was the need for a carburetor for it.. i haven't seen any rules reguarding the for sale section, so if i'm missing them let me know. Well i'm off to the for sale section to see about getting this beast running.. lol.

Oh.. almost forgot it's not a truck either, it's a 81 celica.. but theres not too many good 2nd gen forums. the motor's the same so i'll learn about that.. and i like these lil mini trucks so i'll be lookin around too.

Welcome to TM! Sweet Celica! I've decided my next project after my truck is done is going to be a mid 70's Celica coupe. I want to turn into a auto-x car.

id put the doors back on, the bodys flex quite a bit, and the door ends up being sorta structural. ive had a few times where i couldnt open the door after big jumps, or parked flexed out like a wheeler.

a couple other good places for 2nd gen info

    www.celica-gts.com

    www.1stgencelica.com

neither one is a dedicated 2nd gen site, but there are more then a few owners on each site. we 2nd gen owners are the red headed stepson of the rwd celica community

I've been finding that out.. i'm a member of the 1stgen site already.. and i'll get on that other one.. what do you think about a roll door to keep the open air feel but have some structural rigidity... like those half doors on jeeps..
