new stout hood

    Decided to build a new stout hood today. The original had flew up and hit the roof and had flat spots in the lines and damage to the rear section. so while I am waiting for various suspension parts I put my time to use. here are some pics enjoy.

    man I wish I lived closer to some of you guys. I don't know crap when it comes to stuff like that. All i can do a little car audio

    Finally!!!!!!!!!! some aftermarket!!!!!:) looks great! i'm working on a lead of a running 65/66 stout near me. its a friend of a friends.

    That's inventive... You should create stuff like that for a living and help everyone save money from the stealerships.

    Thanks for all the comments. Plans are to have it rolling chassis before the end of this month. There is a local show here in Oroville that I want to take it to. I will post pics of the suspension as soon as I have all of the parts to begin.

    Nice work. How did you form the frame-- did you use a set of rollers to create that subtle curve or did you just carefully bend it over your knee (so to speak)?
