so it isn't a yota, and its for my little girl, but i'm still excited. found it on craigslist for $200. runs perfect.
you see your daughter riding it... i see 4 grown adults trying to ride it together while drunk circus style. i love me a mini bike http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C197_uY4jA
i thought it was a great deal, i also sprung an extra $50 and got the training wheels, extra front and rear tire and wheel, and a set of blue plastics. all the accesories at the dealer cost over $250. and yeah, i ride it as well. my buddy has a few, we take them around the golf course in the mega community he lives in. people usually call the cops, unless we have our daughters riding along. i got my honda 50 for my 5th birthday, so i got her this when she is 3 since its a little smaller without as much performance.
what 50 do you have ?? a z50 ? year ???? good deal man... but if you want a real mean pitbike without spending a fortune buy a thumpstar.. holy hell those are fast... they keep up with 2 stroke 85s... I had a 120cc thumpstar and sold it to a fast friend for 500.. he destroyed it. oh yeah is that a peewee 50 or 80 ?
i don't remember what mine was, by the time i was 8 i outgrew it and sold it. this bike is a pw50 from the 90's, but its in awesome shape. my daughters really small, so it should suit her well for a long time.
went out and got my daughter all the safety stuff. it's probably overkill for now, but better safe then sorry. a little more practice and the training wheels and leash are coming off. she only weighs 30 pounds so the little bike gets going pretty quick.
well, i went out and picked up another 50. its a 2002 suzuki jr50. runs excellent. i think the yamaha has a little more power though.
i like quads, and someday i'll get them for my kids. i like to start them on the 2 wheelers so they get balance down first. keeps them from getting too c*o*c*k*y too fast. my wife started out on a quad and refused to ride a dirtbike until she was 22 years old. technically its the first bug/hobby i ever had. got a honda z50 for my 5th birthday. i've been looking for another ever since i bought the pink/white yamaha. just today i seen they banned selling new kids motorcycles because the metals used on the bike have small amounts of lead. i think it's stupid!
yea my lil brother got lucky cuz he got an '03 kx85 but because of that new law, or w/e it is, he almost didnt get a diff bike n his crf50 was too small for him, but luckily my old man found the bike and got it
