Hello, I'm new to both this forum and Toyotas. As the name suggests, I'm hacking on a 74 hilux in the hopes of having a deq exempt daily driver with a more up to date drivetrain, 22r and 5 speed specifically. The rebuilt 87 motor will remain stock aside from an Engnbldr 268 cam and I'm hoping to desmog and run the stock carb. The tranny is a 94 from junkyard. Will post pics.
Thanks, man. I'll take any and all advice on this project. Didn't imagine swapping a 4 into a truck of the same make would be such a pain but too much $ spent on motor rebuild to turn back now
Haven't sussed out attaching pix with cell phone. Any ideas on doing that with Android? For time being I am loading the minor details to avatar pic as the project progresses.
