I just joined this forum but I am not new to Toyota's. I have owned several through out the years. I had a 74 40 series, a 78 40 series, a 86 pickup 4x4, several 4runners, and a 2009 venza and more that i dont remember. But currently my project is a 1971 hilux 2wd im planning on a disk brake swap now then hope to get it bagged. So enough about me I better get to checking out this site
Welcome from nor california. I love the first gen hilux. I have 2 a 69 and a 71. Good luck with your 71 project. Post some pictures of it when you get a chance. Steve
