Guys i'm interested to know what these do down the strip as far as et / mph

I had one as a rental a while back and was stunned at how well it went considering it's just an everyday ute.

Anyway I'm considering putting this V6 in my RN10 but really need an idea on the actual performance.

 

figure 285 hp in a tiny truck.. ET in the quarter would be subject to so many things that i doubt you could guess close. Traction, transmission setup, gears, tire size, tire type blah blah blah... figure it would be a fun v6 to drive

 

285 in our trucks is AMAZING.

 

There's a 2wd Xrunner over here with a supercharger and slicks that runs in the high 13's trapping a little over 100 mph.

 

That's not too bad, considering they weigh quite a bit. 4.0 or 3.4?

 

4.0, the bigger Tacoma. There is an 86 with a supercharged 3.4 swap that runs 12.70's around 115.

 

i might have to hire one and take it to the drags...
