What's up guys and gals. I've been lurking around for a little while and finally decided to join. I bought a 91 XCab a couple of months ago, and have been messing with it a little. It was already bagged, with a shot motor. We are going to cut out all the existing work and relink it and redo the front. It looks rough, but the body is in good shape. Here is the truck, I have since taken off the front cap and more. Here is my old truck, 92 dakota, sold it last year.
Not a bad start, and the motors on these trucks are pretty simple to swap out. Find a good runner locally and just swap it out. You can always build a badass motor for it later. There are quite a few guys with motor knowledge here if you need advise. Me, SD YOTA, B.Y.E., and plenty of others that you'll see builds from.
Thanks for the welcome guys. The progress will be slow on this one. I am a fulltime college student and also work alot. Once the suspension is redone, which a friend will be doing, I will be moving on to other parts of the truck. The motor was already pulled when I bought it so I don't know where anything mounts to. Two cylinder walls are scored and the motor is apart in plastic tubs. Anyways, thanks guys.
