Hey guys I have a 94 single cab swb an was wondering how much of a drop it would take to barely tuck 17 inch rims? And the second question is it possible to tuck a 17x9 cragar soft 8 rim? I know nothing about offsets or backspace or anything like that so any help would be greatly appreciated, this is my first try at a lower altitude truck haha.. I've owned 2 toyotas before now but both were lifted.. Thanks guys

To tuck a 17" wheel depending on tire size you would need at least 4/5 drop. You might be able to run a 9" wide wheel, depending on offset. You would have to get 4wd fenders to run that wheel on the front. Cause you might have issues turning.

What offset would I need? Or would it just be easier to go 8 inches wide instead of 4wd fenders? Sorry for the questions I just don't know much about suspension an wheel offsets an such

I could only find a 17x8 or17x9 in this wheel with 5 inch back space if that tells you anything
