scott here, i'm a ford lincoln mercury guy but this little truck fell in my lap and i love it and it's getting all the tlc that it needs.
a customer gave it to me in exchange for some work on his other car. it is a 86 base model pickup, i have had it about 6 months......it's a runner and it hauls alot too (1900 lbs of coal so far 26 miles) when i got the truck it needed a thermostat and a starter. i also installed a pr of coilover shocks in the rear and new shocks up front, a new alt belt and a lens.

i just got the windshield replaced because it was chipped up and the butyl failed and it was leaking bad, that caused the floors to rot out, fixing the floors tonite, the drivers side was the worst, quitting for the night, and have to get some more sheet metal in the morning.

heres a vid of the truck and the rust in the floors YouTube - ‪Toyota pickup repairs‬‏

Hey thanks to both of ya! I am wanting a stiffer suspension. I am guessing my only way to achieve that in the front is to get sway a way torsion bars.

yes i thought the truck was pretty nice, i had to have it when my buddy that owned it called it a roach coach and was ready to drive it to the shredder......it's amazing what a fresh fuel filter can do for performance lol.......the bodies usually do not hold up this well in pennsylvania.....i had a 84 nissan pickup that was in worse shape body wise 15 yrs ago lol
