You can do 4", but you'll most likely be hitting a bit more than you like. You're lucky because they still make drop leafs for your truck. You'll get 3" from them and then you can run a small 1" or 1.5" steel block & low pro bumps from me. A guy on here did that very setup and was happy as hell. I can't remember his username right now though. You'll want nice firm gas charged shocks on there too.

your brake adjuster may make the rear brakes more grabby since it'll add some more pressure but you can flip the adjuster upsidedown in order to compensate that.

some people who drop or raise these trucks beyond the adjustable limit of the bpv have cut their bpv rod off 2 inches from the base and leave it there.

you wont run into issues with the crossmember behind the cab till you reach the 6" drop point. you should be fine otherwise.

with that much drop in front do you need to cut out the inner fenders

by inner fenders are you reffering to the plastic liner? or the actual metal wheel well that insulates the engine bay? i did a 4" drop on a 93 the other week and he kept his stock plastic liner..... no rubbing so this may be a no on the cut. also depends on the size wheel and tire combo you are running.

im going to be installing the 3" springs on mine. they are the belltech ones. also putting belltech shocks, the higher quality ones. i cant remember the name of them right now. but they're silver. it should ride better than it does now. 228K mile suspension vs. new.
how hard was the front spindle install? what all bushings and ball joints your replace? im needing a parst list cause im going to be doin this in the next couple of weeks. post some pics of your truck.
