Hey, I am going to start by saying that I do not own a Toyota, nor do I plan to anytime soon. That being said, I have always had a soft spot for old Toyota Pickups and my little brother aquired one today. He somehow managed to get a running truck, with a few minor problems, for free.

Despite my annoyance and disbelief at my brother's luck, I will be helping him diagnose and fix problems on this car when he needs the help so I thought that I would join a forum so I could start learning about the truck. Currently my brother plans to fix this truck up enough so that it can be a reliable daily driver, hopefully he will be able to do this sometime in the next year so that when he gets his driver's lisence he will have a car to drive.

At this point I am unsure of the year or model of the truck, all I know is that it has a carbeurated 4-banger under the hood. Right now I do not have any pictures of the truck but tomorow I should be able to snap a couple and post them on here.

 

Well, you will definitely learn about this truck with all of our participants and everybody sharing good info.
