Just found this site, figured I would check it out and post a couple pics of my current rig. STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION 350SBC TH350 205 T-case Corp. 10 bolt 8 lug front axle GM 14 bolt 8 lug rear 4:10 gears 38s Cell phone pics, so there arnt the best.
nice rig man! looks like its got some good flex up front... need some more weight over that rear to get it to twist
mmm not sure. Its stock rebuilt, shorties, alum intake, Holley 600 with a trick kit...not that a carb adds horse but thats all thats done with the motor. I just needed a sbc to put in and use to mock up and get me threw the Winter. Building a mean 355 or 383 (havent decided yet) in the shed this Spring for next Summer. Just had it boild and crack checked. Had new cam bearings put in along with frost plugs for now. If I had to toss some numbers out on HP in the stocker engin I'd say around 230HP and 275lb-ft is all.
Well actually, im in the prosses of building it yet. So im not sure how it does at the moment...but hoping fairly well. The stock straight axles have been pulled and sold and I am now running a GM 14 bolt full floater rear and a Corp. 10 bolt front axle both with 4:10 gears. When I get the money im going dana 60/dana 70 set up for axles....
The way he leans when he picks up that back leg reminds me of my dog. He is getting up there in age. Really nice looking truck there BTW.
das soo sick!!! u should drop it so the wheels stick outside the fenders lol i love that wide stance! and are you gonna put a flat bed or the stock 4wd cuz the 4wd bed (not bobbed) would look sick!!
Def putting the stock box on...as far as bobbing goes...still undecided. Its that or do some MAJOR trimming of the wheel well. The rear axle is moved 5.5"s forward from stock for a shorter wheel base and better turning radious threw the trees. Also will help with departcher angle...but that will require bobbing the rear.... Have to wait till I get it on and figure out what I want to do from there.
