Hi all, very nice site here, Name is Joel, been meaning to register since I first saw this site 2 years ago. Looks like it has grown quite a bit since then. I currently drive an 1988 2WD regular bed, I bought it from the original owner here on Guam around 10 years ago, and drove it bone stock for like 8 years. I dont have any good pics of my truck right now except for a couple of youtube vids I posted awhile back. Anyway, its looks are pretty basic and Im planning to slowly spruce it up. I finished the turbo conversion (stock 22R carb to boosted EFI) back in summer 2007, and its been run since as a daily driver. I'll have to dig up some pics of the motor build up and arrange it in a thread sometime soon. Thanks for the welcomes, turbo is running ok so-far, knock on wood. Runs like a stock 22RE off-boost.. also seems the old tps is slowly going off calibration again, affecting the acceleration enrichment a hair off idle. I usually have to re-cal it every few months with the laptop connected. I just want to start fixing up the exterior etc, its still in its original paint and wheels, so slowly work from there.. nothing special. Theres some really nice trucks on this site, and plenty tips and ideas I gotta learn. I'm usually a VW bug guy, but the Toy pickup is sparking more interest, leaving my VW bug collecting dust. Yeah TRfknD, its getting hot here.. in fact its baking right now in Dededo. We need more rain. Nice to see the 671 is represented here. Hey what up Ton, I almost forgot, I was checking out customtacos then I saw the link to this forum. Man, your truck has smoooth lines bro. You guys have some cherry trucks there in H-town.
