Hey Guys, Name is Joe. and Im from Chatsworth, Georgia. I just picked up my 1st toyota Pickup 2 days ago. Its a 81 standard cab. She needs quite a bit of work, but hopefully with some help from you guys on here, and my club, I'll have a weekend dragger before long. Well a bit about myself, Im married, and I have a son. Im a stay at home dad-(not by choice, but since the economy fell out & not too many houses are being built Im without a job, but with my son) so it all works out. Im a member of Wicked Possessionz based here in Chatsworth. Although Im still fairly new to mini trucks in the past I owned a 74 datsun 620 that was bodydropped, convertible, and had a single pump setup. And I left a traditional car club about 3 years ago, where I had my 87 monte carlo LS, that I installed hydraulics on, and tinkered here and there with different setups. So Im not completely new to the scene, but I still have alot of learning to do. But anyways, before I start rambling on as I tend to do, I'll leave you to it. Thats a nice looking Datsun you got there. I also have secretly conveted your sr5 predracer. I spent some time in Aussie land and i met several guys that would hook up any datsun they could get there hands. I guess is was my first introduction to the "mini" culture. good luck with that 81. That dats is sick, if you can make the yota like that or better then you go Joe haha puns sorry. I had a caddy and impala both juiced miss them everyday. Love the mini trucks though so welcome and talk to yo lata
Thanks guys for all the kind words & welcomes. Also Euro, I need to go ahead and say I wasnt the one who built that 620. I bought it off a real good guy up in Peachtree N.C., his name is Ray and he owns a shop called Sound Expressions. Also same here on missing that lil truck, I kick myself in the ass everyday for selling it. I was being dumb, and the old car club I was in said no trucks allowed so I sold my own truck to buy my Monte Carlo...a very very dumb move, but no I've got a fresh start on the 81 and I hopefully someday I'll be able to use the phrase "Built, Not Bought"
