wsup wsup new guy to the site just wanted to into myself here I have a 93 2wd pickup and am from the Bay Area. I traded a Auto AE86 I had for the truck few months and I love it so far. I have always been into Toyota pickups since my stepbro had one years ago slammed on TSW wheels. Im fairly new to pickups and pickup suspension setups but overall its been cool learning exp. I try to do as much as I can by myself. So far Its lowered on flipped BJ with washers and cranked torsions up front and 3" blocks in the rear, Im looking for a way to lower the rear another inch or so without really softening up the suspension. .Looking at the site so far it has some good info ..
Welcome to TM! You could find some 4" blocks. Thats what I'm thinking of doing. What else do ya have planned for it?
thanks for the welcomes I will get some pix up soon and yea I thought about 4" blocks. I was also searching the site and seen people removing a leaf and flipping the helper. what if I just flipped the helper spring and left the leaf? hmm
I've heard of removing the overload spring, but you won't be able to put any weight in it. I've also heard of flipping the leaf springs. I have 3" blocks and factory leaf's and still able to put a little weight in it.
