Hello everybody. New to the forum, and lookin forward to reading some threads, lookin at some pics, getting some help, and some ideas from everybody. Got a 92 with 22re, 5 spd, 2wd. Inherited it when my grandpa died. He loved that truck, as do I. But before i could get much done, I swapped paint, and metal with an FJ cruiser. Now I gotta get it back on the road.

Welcome to the site! Let's see some pics! Even if it is all smashed up, I still want to see what you have to work with!

I haven't completely decided yet. Paint and body for sure. Thinkin about the metallic burnt orange look like GM was putting on their Avalanches a few years back. With a 36in solid silver stripe down the center. Undecided on wheels. I want to get another block and build it up for transplant later down the line. But as of right now, i gotta find out why Im not getting fuel.

From the wonderful town of Hallsville. East Texas. Gotta do core support on this one too. I tried straightening this one out, but with no success. As cheap as they are, might as well do a new one.

Yeah about 4 hrs. Moved from Houston to Longview (next town over from here) when I was a kid. Haven't been back for a long time.

Start a build-up thread! Is your fuel pump engaging when you turn the motor over? The fuel pumps on these don't have a "prime" feature where it pumps fuel when you turn the key. They run off something that only kicks on when the motor is turning over. (I'm not positive on what makes it kick on all I know is that I had this same issue last week when tracking down why I wasn't getting fuel. It pumps when the motor is spinning)
