Hello, I just got a 1986 Toyota pickup that was forgotten in the back of the shop I work in. I lucked out with it, it was garage kept,completely unmolested, and only 108,000 miles on it. Only drawback is that it is automatic and only 2wd. i wish to rectify the first issue. I hope to learn a lot of things on this forum and eventually be able to show people somethings as well. P.S Ive been telling people I have I Hilux. Is this frowned upon? Or is it safe to say. Thank you.
Welcome! Sounds like a good score! People who don't know toyota trucks wont know what you're talking about when you say "HILUX". In the U.S. they were sold as a toyota "pickup". Nothing wrong with calling it a hilux, just expect to explain it to people...
