What is this and how is it used? it says RPM and has an adjust knob. I assume engine control but .............

 

thats for your a/c compressor to kick on. the higher you have the rpm knob the higher the engine has to rev for the ac to kick on. turn that sob all the way down if you live somewhere hot so the ac is always on when idleing.

where exactly is that located? under the dash somewhere?

 

behind the glovebox. you can see it if you open the box and look behind it, but you have to pull the shelf down to get your meathooks back there.

yea its near the glovebox reach up twards the window once the glove box is removed. Upper left side.
