I need an extension cord for mywelder since my only 220 outlet is inside so I need like maybe 15 feet of cord so if anyone can helpme out on this it's greatly appreciated
just go to home depot or lowes. they will have the cord you need. tell them what your hooking up and they will cut it to length. i took off my factory cord and installed a 20' cord. it's only 3 wires, also pick up the right plug for your outlet. (i did a small weld project for a friend of mine and switched the plug to work of his range, it worked pretty good too.)
yup, Home D for the 3 wire 220, they sell it by the foot, or you can buy the whole spool. It's the thick black one w/3 wires inside.(blk, wht, green) Then just buy the correct ends and bam! Careful on the wall end...there's a bunch, have fun.
I went to lowes they suck they didn't have anything then I remembered we have a welding supply store and went there got a 25foot 220 extension cord for $85 figured it would be tht much
